As you might have read in previous posts, the Helmholtz Centre Dresden Rossendorf (HZDR) is installing an experimental facility at its premises to prove the CEEGS cycle at the laboratory scale.
This week, the CO2 pump for the CEEGS facility was delivered to HZDR. The CO2 pump is the main component for pressurising the CEEGS test facility. It draws in liquid CO2 from a storage tank and can pressurise it to over 200 bar. This will allow us to conduct high-pressure experiments in the future. The pump will be connected to the CO2 test facility and commissioned in April and May.
Stay tuned for more updates!
